Creating Databases, Table spaces, Tables, Views, Indexes etc. Buffer pool tuning, creating necessary indexes. Table space management: Adding, dropping, extending, reducing and resizing table space containers. Implemented Backup and Managing database/Tablespace offline and online backups. Full database recovery and roll forward recovery to end of logs for no transaction loss or to specific point in time recovery. DB2 data movement utilities - Export, Import, Load and db2move. Generating data definition language using db2look command from existing database and creating the same objects in newly created databases. Troubleshooting database issues using db2diag, db2pd, db2top, Snapshot monitors and Event monitors, db2support. DB2 Maintenance and application Performance Utilities Reorg, Runstats DB2 Security - Setting authentication, authorization and privileges on database objects to users/groups. Done Fixpack Installation on AIX and Windows environment. SQL Tuning using db2advisor and db2explain tools. Setup and monitoring the SQL & Q replication Good Knowledge and Hands on HADR.
