| From: Nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: ETL-DW Manager Location: NYC NY (Hybrid) Contract : 6-to-12-month Visa: GC and USC only Job Description: The candidate must have skills and experience managing development of Data Warehouse, BI, and Reporting related projects with hands-on technical know-how. Must be familiar with the tasks necessary to design and build a Data Warehouse, and associated multiple reporting needs. Must have experience managing projects including SSIS/ ETL/ DW/ Data integration / SQL Server / Design / Analysis/ other ETL tools like Informatica and Data Stage Must have hands on development experience Must understand Data Warehouse concepts and the deliverables associated with Data Warehouse and Reporting projects. Follows standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework. Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with project sponsor. Creates project charter, work plan, tracks schedule progress via appropriate metrics, and reports on status on a weekly basis. Establishes project organization and methodologies and defines roles and responsibilities. Documents risks and develops mitigation plans. Manages scope. Keeps track of project issues and their resolution. Creates and implements a communication plan. Builds an effective team, assigns tasks to team members, and evaluates outcomes. Negotiates resources. Communicates to stakeholders and project sponsor. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers. Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs. Specific Skills and Job Requirements: 15+ years Technical development and Management Experience, responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation Minimum 10+ years experience leading Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts and the deliverables associated with these types of projects Demonstrated understanding of ETL and reporting processes as they relate to project delivery, e.g. : SSIS/ ETL/ DW/ Data integration / SQL Server / Design / Analysis/ other ETL tools like Informatica and Data Stage Knowledge and understanding of the SDLC Experience with Waterfall & Agile project methodologies 8+ years experience creating detailed project schedules, and managing to them Keywords: business intelligence green card New York |
