Our client is seeking to add a full time Business Analyst in our growing IT department. In this role you will join a growing team where you will collaborate with a wide range of intelligent, dynamic colleagues in the Sales, CRM and eCommerce functions. The Business Analyst (BA) is a member of the Agile Product Team responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog. This is an instrumental role in driving day to day development for an Sales, CRM amd eCommerce systems that generates multi-million dollar business value to the organization by providing our customers with a modern, relevant and personalized digital shopping experience across the company's digital properties. Responsible for streamlining the execution of team priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features/ components for the team. The BA has a significant role in quality control and is the only team member empowered to accept stories as done. This BA role will support the business mni-Channel eCommerce agile product team(s). This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Enablement Works with the business to implement portal solutions to support our growing customer base User Story Development Works with product management and stakeholders to align on business value, problem statements, and customer pain points that are strategic priorities for the company's initiatives Provides subject matter expertise - explaining product vision and user stories to the team to ensure requirements are understood and customer value is delivered Collaborates with development team to elaborate and define technical learnings into refined and prioritized backlog items that align to Iteration Objectives Responsible for defining and prioritizing stories that will increase velocity and quality of the program Responsible for assuring a level of quality has been achieved by validating that the Story meets acceptance criteria and as met acceptance tests Approves stories as complete Responsible to update product management on Story status to align on delivery expectations Team Backlog Ownership/Prioritization Responsible for building, prioritizing, monitoring/editing, and maintaining the flow of Team Backlog to ensure the delivery of the customer satisfaction and multi-million dollar business value Sets the runway for early business value and customer impact by determining sequencing of sprint planning Leads the team in identifying dependencies and tradeoffs as well as problem solving any risks that may appear in the Team Backlog Contributes to the product roadmap and communicates expectations to the business stakeholders Product Roadmap Ownership Identifies the opportunities to improve customer experience, for discussion with business stakeholders Drafts the team's objectives and defines features for the Product Roadmap Participates in the development of business plans with other members of the cross-functional team supporting the strategy of our online portals Identify new areas of portal opportunity beyond current organizational thinking Properly allocates velocity for technical/technical debt to ensure product stability, including product upgrades Maintain Conceptual and Technical Integrity of Features/Components Partner with design function to consider usability testing and end-user feedback to ensure product will address and resolve user pain points Manage the user experience of the portal including catalog, navigation, content, development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns Provide architecture and development teams sufficiently detailed feedback on user stories and product vision to ensure the team maintains the technical integrity of features/functionality QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Business Analyst Sales, CRM, eCommerce Page 2 Boston, MA 02110 | (617) 315-8200 Naples, FL 34114 | (239) 908-0788 Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Math, or any related field from an accredited institution with a technology or marketing focus 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in software development Experience with Sales, CRM (MS Dynamics) and eCommerce (SAP Hybris) Experience managing Customer Portals required Experience supporting EDI implementation preferred Experience in eCommerce industry preferred Significant domain experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, ideally with a focus on user experience or content management Experience working within a geographically-distributed agile development environment a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (self-starter) and to be able to work well with a team for a common goal Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, as well as experience with strategic planning and project planning and implementation Ability to think both abstractly and analytically, with an emphasis on problem solving Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information from a variety of sources, often requiring research skills and creativity Proficient skills in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneNote, OneDrive, Visio) Ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure and meet deadlines Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements Utilizes experience using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required Ability to follow instructions and respond to upper managements' directions accurately Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met Capable of writing simple SQL queries a plus Keywords: business analyst information technology green card microsoft Florida Massachusetts New Hampshire |
