Role: Pega+ Automation Location: Charlotte, NC, Minneapolis, MN, Chandler, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh, NC (Hybrid/ 3 Days Onsite 2 Days Remote) Client: Wells Fargo Job Description: Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect (CSSA) minimum certification level, Pega Lead Systems Architect (LSA) preferred. Must have experience in core workflow, UI and integration approaches in Pega with expertise in use of Automated Unit Testing (AUT) and Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC). Java experience with automation frameworks including Selenium strongly desired. Experience delivering Payments related applications strongly desired financial services or insurance experience generally relevant. Here are a few areas with some hints to watch out for in the responses: Pega Unit Testing framework (not just manual unit tests) expected types of rules covered by unit tests (flow rules, activities, decisions, report definitions and so on) and examples of Pega features that cannot be unit tested (UI sections are one example) Pega Predictive Diagnostic cloud or if the experience is limited to PAL and Tracer, examples of Exceptions (connect fails, db query timeouts, UI browser rendering time, KPI/SLA breach) Automated testing using frameworks such as Java Selenium if not, any experience in working with automation testing, data setup, backend stubs/simulations System administration how to check if the system is healthy and role of agents (for scheduled/background tasks), listeners (for connecting to remote systems and receiving updates), connectors (connecting to remote systems and sending updates), job schedules (modernization of the agents capability for scheduled tasks) queue processors (modernization of the agent queuing mechanism to use kafka backed services to distribute load and increase the degree of parallel processing possible) Search Index what it is, how it works at a minimum should be able to describe that it depends on elastic search and the system uses the queue processors to queue items for indexing supports 3 types of items for indexing (rules the code), data (reference data primarily but not all) and work (typically workflow case related records) Demonstrate any understanding of Tomcat and how it works in relation to running pega and how to configure things such as memory tuning, node type preferences and system identifiers (I wouldnt expect general developers to know this but we might get lucky) Sagar Kumar Sibitalent Corp.
