Job Title: Visual Design Developer Location: REMOTE Client: UPMC We are looking for a talented Visual Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for design, possess superior visual design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. In this role, you will work alongside a team of other visual designers, UX designers, UX researchers, and engineers to produce high-quality work. You should be able to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Create high-fidelity mockups to articulate requirements and workflows to the team. Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes for easier understanding of complex interactions as needed. Ability or familiarity with writing and/or conducting usability tests on proposed and developed solutions with end-users to validate iterative hypotheses. Ensure developed solutions are usable with assistive technology and meet accessibility standards. Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies and vocalize progress, impediments, and ideas. Work with other designers to ensure designs meet interaction and visual design standards from a systemic level. Seek peer review of work and be receptive to team commentary. Keep abreast of advancements in visual design and UX methodologies and best-practices. Establish and promote visual design guidelines and standards.
