The work will involve designing, configuring, managing, and administering systems within a wide area network of file and application servers, enterprise applications, switches, routers, and including authentication and security systems to assure proper file server security and performance. This is an onsite 6-month contract to hire role will be located onsite at our clients Tallahassee, Florida office. **OUR CLIENT IS NOT OFFERING RELOCATION OR SPONSORSHIP Work location Onsite in Tallahassee, FL Work Authorization USC or GC (sponsorship is not available) Duration 6 months CTH (No conversion fee and No contract only option) Project Start Date ASAP Work Hours 40 hours/week, standard 8 am 5 pm eastern time Interview Method Video Communication Excellent as they will be working with all levels. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or other related field 3 years of related technical work experience (Our client will also consider an equivalent combination of training and experience = 7 years.) Experience in one or more of the following areas: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Linux, Microsoft, Novell (Netware or Linux based) VMWare, Cisco routers and wireless access controllers and authentication servers. Experience in two or more of the following areas: Enterprise software administration/support and enterprise network design Virtualized systems (desktop or server systems) Anti-virus (Lumension, McAfee) Backup solutions for servers (Symantec/Veritas) Remote access for applications ( Citrix), etc. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Network Operating System Administration Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Cisco Certified Network Administrator or Network Professional Network expert (CCNA, CCNP, CCNE) Avaya Certification Security + Network + Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) GIS certification, ESRI system certification.
