Provide consultation and guidance to IT teamsas and when needed to address issues oPrepare and provide status reports anddashboards on various matters (BAU activity, projects, KRIs, strategy, etc.) tosenior executives o Ensuresecurity governance is uniformly applied and remain informed on projectsprogress; create quality reports illustrating program status, areas forimprovement and success oWork with, monitor and provide guidance,evaluation and advocacy on information security related audits including scopeof audits, issue finding, and disposition of issues to put the institution inits best light. oWork closely with various business functions(e.g., banking, equities, operational risk, compliance, legal, HR and auditteams) to provide security best practice expertise. Stay abreast of new laws,regulations and standards, and assess their impacts to the business oDrive efforts to internally assess, evaluate andmake recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the securitycontrols, security programs across the enterprise o Conductindependent verification of the company networks and sensitive programs throughinternal team resources and independent consultant engagements o Performother duties as assigned Skills and Experience oDemonstrates highly effective communicationsskills with the ability to influence business units oSolid knowledge of information security toolsand techniques, including: data leakage prevention, incident response,vulnerability scanning and reporting, security operations, identity managementand Cloud security oAbility to independently work, be counted upon,manage priorities, and remain flexible in a changing environment while meetingproject timelines oProven high level of integrity, trustworthinessand confidence, as well as ability to represent the company and security leadershipwith the highest level of professionalism oStrong Microsoft Office, project management andorganizational skills oApplicable knowledgeable with the cybersecurity requirements and bestpractices recommended by various regulators such as the Federal Reserve Bank(FRB), New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) regulations andframeworks, and others; o Familiarity with NationalInstitute of Technology (NIST) standards, International Standards Organization(ISO) standards, etc. and aligning those with enterprise solutions &processes Education and Experience Requirements oBachelor's degree and/or Masters degree in computer science, MIS,information assurance or related technical field.
