Role: Tech Lead/Architect Location: Remote Duration: Contract Experience: 9+ Years Job Description: Tech Lead/Architect for an AWS Cloud migration project with 8-10 years of experience. (Oracle PLSQL/Oracle DB and Mainframe knowledge is must) Prior experience in migrating Oracle and Mainframe based applications to cloud is an added advantage. Responsible for liaising between project teams across locations and the Customer Service Management. Participate and provide inputs for release planning - Act as the Cognizant Delivery team point of contact for the portfolio. Support Service Management / process related activities performed by the SMO with relevant delivery data. Responsible for end-to-end services for the application cluster / portfolio being managed. Ensure adherence to SOW requirements including client security and compliance needs - Follow up with internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Vendor liaison) to progress tickets to resolution. Proven experience in working on cloud environments of technically complex, highly integrated enterprise environments Experience with SQL, Oracle PLSQL and working with normalized as well as de-normalized databases. Experience in applying Data Engineering best practices (coding, unit testing, version control, code review). Experience Optimizations including increasing Operational efficiencies on AWS while reducing overall DevOps costs. Ability to root cause and fix bugs/defects. Create Architectural standards and policy documents to socialize and align cross-functional teams. Strong communicator with the ability to work across business and IT teams to provide solution options. Assists in identifying appropriate data sourcing and extraction processes, and in identifying and nominating sources as systems of record for data usage in various applications. Help delivery team to create business friendly touchpoints/UI/Experience with the new AWS platform. Experience in visualisation tools (like Tableau) is good to have. AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional OR AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate Experience in managing code repo, CICD pipelines configuration & management Experience in scripting languages such as NodeJS, Python, and Powershell.
