From: David Johnson, concord it systems [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: LTE Test Engineer (WI-FI & 5G) Location: Philadelphia, PA DAY 1 ONSITE Fundamental understanding of the wireless network and RAN technology Hands-on working experience with next-generation wireless technology (LTE/5G), 5G NSA/SA, and WiFi technologies in lab and production environments In-depth understanding of the cellular network architecture device, network and service provisioning and activation Work with cloud infrastructure for virtualized and cloud native network functions Work with various commercial and pre-commercial user equipment. Experience with testing tools: wireshark, network emulators (Keysight), SIM capture (Comprion) Good understanding of all components involved in an end-to-end cellular network. Basic understanding of SIM profiles and SIM management functions, for both physical SIMs and eSIMs Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework. Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for project workstreams Develop design documents Familiarity with technical specifications, and a facility to work with specifications to explore wireless technology and to troubleshoot issues Assess vendor capabilities/test strategies. Upgrade network hardware and software components as required Explore novel approaches to system integration with existing networking technologies.
