A skilled Web UI/API test automation engineer knows how to interact with front ends web UI and backend services (APIs) and understands how they are used and related. This enables candidates to think about risks and potential failures and use automated tests to prevent them. Must-Have: Test design and execution in performance and robustness for cloud-ready & microservices-based cloud-native architecture for release and PI Coding experience with automated testing Selenium Web driver or Hybrid frameworks using Java, tools, services, and physical device Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, scenario analysis, and test cases for API services testing, and Robustness areas Hands-on Experience of Automation Framework Creation and Optimization. Knowledge of continuous integration using Jenkins, GIT or any other tool. Good understanding of API, Microservices, and Test Methodologies for APIs. Hands-on Experience of API Testing Tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or ReadyAPI. Good Understanding of Enterprise Level Implementation of APIs and API Deployment Platform. Experience in developing manual and automation test cases with JIRA/QMetry or any other tracking tools.. Experience in designing and developing scalable, flexible, and cross-platform automation test frameworks. Provide the overall QA status reporting and escalate risks promptly to management and assist in resolution. Responsible for ongoing continuous improvement to build testing efficiency and effectiveness through innovative QA practices and automation tools. Candidate should have basic skills or knowledge of groovy scripting or any other scripting knowledge to automation microservices API endpoints. Good-to-Have: Experience building complex automation systems that have been successful in reducing the overall QA burden of the engineering team Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the entire software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations using cutting edge methodologies Experience of working Build tools like Maven etc Ability to effectively manage your time across multiple projects Can use Eclipse IDE, GIT, sourceTree, Gitbash, Maven, and Jenkins or equivalent Candidate may need basic knowledge of CouchDB to check if an API correctly saves and fetches data from its database.
