Position: Business Analyst Location: New York, NY (2 days onsite & 3 days remote) Duration: 12 Months contract Job Description: Must have finance, investment clients experience. (Note: Only local candidates required for this role) RESPONSIBILITIES Work with business partners to identify opportunities and define goals for various initiatives Play a key role in articulating detailed requirements and acceptance criteria Coordinate across business, user experience and technology teams to drive delivery Collaborate with user experience designers to prepare wireframes for review with business users and development teams Prepare detailed specifications and supporting documents to guide development teams as needed Work with QA to assist in designing and reviewing test cases Meet deadlines and communicate delays in a timely manner SKILLS REQUIRED 5-10 years of industry experience in a business analyst or product management role Experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics and organizing the backlog according to the overall roadmap Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders to understand the business and gather requirements Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative Ability to work efficiently and independently Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project) If you are interested, please share your updated resume and suggest the best number & time to connect with you.
