(Must be able to work 5 days in onsite) .NET Cloud Platform and Migration : Minimum Experience Total exp: 5 years mostly as C#.NET Developer We are looking for a Cloud Migration Engineer who has a passion for cloud with knowledge of different cloud architecture environments, virtualization, and data center automation. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in migrations and the ability to help customers get value. Responsibilities: Capture migration requirements. Application migration to multi-cloud in the project delivery cycle with hands on experience migrating customers/projects to the cloud. This role will work closely with clients, partners and other business units to ensure consulting engagements are successful. This role includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements related to cloud migration project engagements along with building IaaS/PaaS infrastructure landing zones. Strong Experience on hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery models Implement cloud migration techniques and workflows (on premise to Cloud Platforms). Assist with creating cloud migration strategies; defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, and more. Assist in creating and executing migration run books. Determine source clouds (Physical, Virtual and Cloud) and target Workloads. Act as liaison to support teams and clients during migration. Use troubleshooting skills and work closely with operations, support, engineering and/or other functions to ensure successful migrations. As part of a team, research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques to further Cloud offerings in support of our business As part of a team, recommend tools/approaches for manageability, zero downtime, scalability, repeatability, automation. Contributor on team to develop tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities. Contributor on team to define and document standard operating procedures and protocols from a security perspective Participate on a team to develop, support, and document automated build and configuration management processes. Requirements: 3+ years of experience working with Public Cloud Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. 2+ years of experience with designing cloud implementation architectures and solutions using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding 3+ years of experience with application transformation and modernization & data migrations projects. 2+ years of experience with various Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Source Code Repos and configuration management tools, technologies and best practices. 3+ years of experience with performing discovery and assessment of a customer's overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. 3+ years of implementation experience of cloud architectures and solutions using PaaS, DevOps & Advanced Application coding. Experience using database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, SQL and understanding of NoSQL, MongoDB is preferred. Experience in performance tuning, including load balancing, web servers, content delivery Networks (CDN), Caching, etc. Experience deploying multi-tiered applications. Strong background in linux/Unix and Windows administration. Solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks. Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or equivalent. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products, including Dataflow, Cloud Storage, BigQuery and Cloud Functions. 4+ or more years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Pipeline as Code (PaC), automated single click deployment, configuration management with large/mid-size applications via extensive Terraform scripting on GCP or AWS or GCP cloud platforms. Experience planning and executing data-center consolidations, relocations, and migrations. Ability to perform infrastructure discovery and assessments working with the Architecture team. Demonstrated understanding of Data Center Operations (Production operations, Server, Storage, Network, Database Management, Systems Management, Helpdesk, DR/Business recovery practices) Familiarity with functional operations of server, storage, and network functions. Proven working experience in Orchestration environments like Kubernetes, Dockers, preferably an administration level expertise.
