If the candidate is local they would like the candidate to come onsite to collect equipment. If candidate is not local, they will mail the equipment. The agency utilizes the following technology stack: DataPower, IIB, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Mainframe, Java, .Net, WebSphere Portal, Linux, Unix, VMWare, Palo Alto Firewall, F5 Load Balancer, and Net App SAN. The Technical Architect will: Work with Architect team and Subject Matter Experts to understand the current design and implementation. Develop architecture views for the baseline/current security capabilities. Develop architecture views for the baseline/current Network capabilities. Develop architecture views for the baseline/current Infrastructure capabilities. Develop architecture views for the baseline/current Business Applications. Develop the data flows. Develop architecture views that will enable the architecture to be communicated to, and understood by, all the stakeholders, and enable them to verify that the system will address their concerns. Illustrate network switching and routing configurations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Thorough knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering. Working knowledge of IT governance and operations. Interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand. Project and program management planning and organizational skills. Strong customer service orientation. Demonstrated skills in time management and prioritization. Ability to work with solutions architect(s), Subject Matter Experts to document a consensus-based enterprise solution. Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated understanding of the TOGAF, Archimate Architecture Modelling. Experience with Orbus iServer would be a plus Experience with TCP/IP Networking. Good understanding of IT security, security architecture and security operations. Including, but not limited to, access management, encryption, mfa, network security, AAA, security processes.
