Please share suitable profile TITLE : Database Engineer VISA: NO H1BMOI:SKYPE LOCATION: ONSITE Job Description: TheDatabase Administrator II is responsible for assisting with architecturaldesign, development, and deployment of cost-effective and sustainable databasetechnical solutions. The role also is responsible for managing databaseperformance, security, integrity, and assisting with the development of theprocedures to support enterprise applications and business functions. EssentialJob Functions Participates underthe guidance of the Sr. Database Administrator/Architect in the architectureand design of database solutions including data models, database technologiesto employ, application/database interaction models and associated standards. Configures andupgrades database software. Evaluates databasefeatures and related products. Performs databaseapplication tuning and performance monitoring. Perform DatabasePatch Management and Version Control. Providesconsultation and trouble shooting for the development team. Designs andimplements databases in conjunction with the application development. Establishes andmaintains sound backup and recovery policies and procedures in conjunction withthe system administrators. Sets up andmaintains database documentation and standards. Interfaces withdatabase vendors for technical support. Implements andmaintains database security. Plans databasegrowth and changes (capacity planning). Provides 7X24database support for production databases. BasicQualifications Bachelors Degree required; Masters degree preferred Bachelorsdegree experience requirements: Min. 3 years experience in database management in UNIX based DB2 and/or Oracle databases and warehouses Min 1 year experience in systems architecture Mastersdegree experience requirements : Min. 1 years experience in database management in UNIX based DB2 and/or Oracle databases and warehouses Min 1 year experience in systems architecture OtherQualifications Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information. Knowledge of and ability to use SQL and Project Ability to manage assignments simultaneously complemented by very good organizational skills. Exceptional analytical and deduction skills.
