PROJECT DETAILS

This individual will join an agile development/delivery team of approximately 8 members, including 3 other developers/engineers.  The project involves a specific line of insurance claim management, but the unique element is that this is a Salesforce platform application.  We are seeking to incorporate broad Salesforce technical experience in our team with this role.  The role will include consulting on extending our feature set in areas such as reporting and operations optimization the potential assignments are broad, but all oriented around our use of the Salesforce platform.

SUMMARY

FullscopeRMS has an opportunity for a technical resource/developer to support a Salesforce platform application and related utilities. This role will entail system configuration and collaboration with a Scrum team of Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Developers as well as with other infrastructure teams. Responsibilities will also include supporting requirement analysis, application development and unit testing. The desirable candidate will show initiative, be accepting of responsibility and be accountable for results. A basic understanding of Salesforce platform fundamentals, reporting and system administration are desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems. - Independently reviews and analyzes issues related to the offerings supported by the product suite. - Help and work with the Technical Support team to understand the issues raised by Business Team. - Document business issues and the specific solutions provided. - Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interface design, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs. - Accountable for the ongoing support of application systems in production including problem analysis, resolution, and escalation, and reporting as necessary. - Develop and test, working with business and system requirements, and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 3 - 7 years of progressive information technology experience - Strong analytical skills - Customer and results focused - Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and team building skills - Experience working within a technical team - Excellent problem analysis and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - ability to express ideas, thoughts and information so that it can be understood by various audiences and meets the customers' needs - Strong organizational and time management skills - Experience in Change Management processes - Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Understanding of formal software development life cycle methodology.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Salesforce platform management, configuration/development experience desired - Experience with JIRA or any other Altassian tools is preferred - Experience with Microsoft .Net (VB. NET, ASP, C#) and SQL Server development is also desired. Knowledge of the financial and insurance industries, specifically insurance business is a plus.
