Engage with Engineering leaders, Product Management, Architects, and Product Quality teams to understand requirements, monitor scope, and facilitate product completion, delivery, and continuous operation. Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Analyse design and determine the coding, programming, and integration activities required based on requirements and overall architecture of the product or solution. Ability to produce innovative solutions to solve real customer problems, responsible for the demonstration of solutions/ideas with a proof-of-concept implementation. Lead a project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystems. Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Plan specific software development areas and tasks that include solution design, analysis, coding, testing, integration, and delivery. Design and write code for different software modules. Responsible for feature enhancement and critical customer-reported bug triage and code fix release. Agile Project Management - Adopt Agile methodologies. Will be responsible for backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint demos to the Product Owner Manage integration of software from multiple teams, integration of new tools or technology, and drive innovation as needed. Develop Teams - Lead and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent Program Manager Certification (PMI) (preferred, not required) Experience Required: 3+ years of core software programming background. 5+ Years of experience in a technical leadership role with a progressive experience of Sr Software Engineer, Technical Lead. Multi-domain experience in Firmware product development, Application Development, Operating System internals, Security Software, Manageability Software. Technical lead experience for s/w development both above OS and below OS level. Agile team setting, experience with Scrum, and the Scrum Master roles. SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Education or experience must include the following: Technical Program Management Multi-technology skills - programming language C++, C#, Core Java. Scripting language Perl, PowerShell. Firmware Development - System Level Design & Programming - C. Knowledge of PC hardware interface (BIOS, EC, Windows Management Interface) Client Manageability Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Intune. Familiar with SCCM extension, develop a plugin that can be integrated with SCCM environment, OS deployment. Security S/W Application Development experience. Knowledge of Agile approaches: SCRUM, Kanban or Scrumban Strong experience with Agile portfolio and sprint backlog planning, grooming, and execution using tools such as MS Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise Experienced with technical functional modeling, diagramming, capturing functional specifications, writing User Stories, and capturing sequence diagrams. Well-versed in the usability of software applications on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux) Extensive exposure to design, development, testing, and delivery of complex software and hardware systems. Automation Framework Design and maintenance. QA Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
