| From: Ansar Alam, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Lead BA/PM MIDDLE OFFICE experience Location: NY (Hybrid) Duration:6+month Visa: GC or USC The SEC has proposed rule changes that will accelerate the settlement cycle from T+2 to T+1 for US markets, with goal of increasing overall efficiency of the securities market. CCMA have proposed similar changes that will align the Canadian Market. AFME (Europe) are currently reviewing the potential impact of also transitioning to T+1. Our client has initiated an enterprise-wide program to assess the impact of accelerated settlement on internal technology and operations functions within its core divisions Global Banking & Markets (GBM), Global Wealth Management (GWM), and International Banking (IB). In keeping with industry timelines, a detailed impact assessment will be initiated across all business lines in order to understand the required operational and technical enhancements, prioritize and develop a detailed roadmap for the delivery of identified changes, implement necessary changes in coordination with vendors, depositories and other industry partners, and participate in internal and industry testing prior to regulatory go-live.This person will be brought in the run the stream of US Middle Office impacting Prime Services, Fixed Income and Equities Operations. As a stream lead you are required do both Business Analysis duties and Project Management duties. Responsibilities: Work with Middle Office specific to Prime Services, Fixed Income and Equities operations teams to understand and document current processes (mapping) and identify gaps/limitations to movement to T+1 settlement Gather information on relevant metrics trade volumes, fail rates, allocation rates, affirmation rates, etc - to inform current state assessment and highlight high-impact areas Manage day-to-day program management deliverables & governance across all aspects of project delivery Leading the charge to understand regulatory requirements and turn them into business requirements Create Gap Analysis and Target Operating Models, Future State Analysis and Current state Analysis Responsible for program integrated risk and issue management and tracking Coordinate focus and working group committees to ensure the objectives of the project are met; includes engaging with business leaders to resolve issues & make decisions. Supports the project team in monitoring and controlling project activities including: risk, issues, status, communication, planning and execution. Proposes recommendations and adjustments and publishes periodic project status reports. Maintains project documentation repositories (SharePoint).
