| From: Suman Bala, HMG America LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Network Engineer Location: Thackerville, OK (Onsite) Contract position Responsibilities: Provide specialist support in Network Security involving Firewalls, IDS/IPS, tunnels, perimeter security, AAA, security hardening Provide hands and feet L1 network support onsite at the base location as needed. Involve and lead on high-priority incidents to isolation and resolution Proactively assess vulnerabilities and initiate actions to remediate Identify trends in network events, possible problems and work towards RCA and resolution Work with engineering and architect team members for related projects, tasks, or issues. Review incidents, service requests, and problem tickets regularly and troubleshoot to resolve the same. Plan, schedule and implement changes as needed Perform OS upgrades for network infrastructure as per defined procedures Work with end users or client support teams to resolve any connectivity issues. Coordinate with service providers/carriers, and OEM vendors to troubleshoot and resolve circuit, hardware, or firmware related issues. Provide on-call support as needed during off hours, including the weekends Provide suggestions to improve design, availability, or security, and work to implement the same Document Network diagrams and SOPs as applicable Coordinate and work with other IT support groups on complex issues as needed. Work in different times as needed for project tasks or activities Skills: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network routing, switching, wireless and firewalls 3-5 years of strong hands-on experience on Palo-Alto firewalls. Prior experience with the design and deployment of firewalls and associated maintenance and configuration of rulesets Prior experience with the design and deployment of IDS/IPS technologies Expertise working with ACLs, NAT, Remote Access VPN, GRE/IPSEC tunnels Experience and detailed technical knowledge of network security, authentication, and security protocols (TACACS, RADIUS, 802.1x), cryptography, and application security Expertise with Cisco hardware platforms such as ASR and ISR routers, Nexus 9Ks and Catalyst 3K and 9K stack switches and Cisco wireless Aps and WLCs Good experience or understanding in Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center, and Meraki platforms Experience with monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds Orion, Cisco Prime, and ISE Experience in using and analyzing packet captures Strong knowledge of current network security threats, trends, and mitigations Network Security Certifications or related knowledge is preferred (CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Palo Alto certification, etc.) Should have good knowledge working with ITIL framework and ITSM tools and practices Ability to work independently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and collaboration skills -- -- Thanks and Regards : Suman Bala US IT Recruiter HMG America LLC Direct number - 7327905647 Board number - 7327905001 Ext.number - 105 W: www.hmgamerica.com Linkedin : https://www.linkedin.com/in/suman-bala-002558220/ Keywords: information technology |
