Beyond the direct configuration of the CI/CD pipeline it is expected that this engineer will work in collaboration with Delivery Engineers and Pen Test Engineers to assure code deliveries and testing meet the rigid standards for security. They should also be experienced in performing audits and assessments of delivered applications preferred experience with interpreting scan results reports produced by Cequence platform Responsibilities of this position include the following Design and implement security controls and best practices in the software development lifecycle Collaborate with developers and IT teams to identify security vulnerabilities and mitigate them Automate security testing and monitoring in the DevOps pipeline Provide guidance on secure coding practices to developers Work with the security team to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards Conduct security audits and assessments of software applications Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest security trends and technologies Participate in incident response and remediation efforts in the event of a security breach Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies procedures and guidelines Continuously improve the DevSecOps processes and toolchain to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
