Must be Agile and able to pivot with the business demands ( what may be important in the morning may not be a priority in the afternoon) be able to add value very quickly - able to provide quick turn around to end users. Experience and or well versed with large financial reporting a must Experience designing and developing Microstrategy projects, understand and capture business requirements, data modeling and creating reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations using Microstrategy tools. Able to extract data, and loading ETL / Informatica data into various sources, strong experience with SQL databases and data warehouses. Strong logical and physical data modeling exp, able to define data hierarchies, metrics, relationships between different data entities. Experience creating reports and dashboards from scratch, able to create charts, graphs and tables to convey insights to business users. Able to create fast query performance and efficient data retrieval, analyze SQL queries and identify bottlenecks and be able to suggest and implement performance improvement strategies. Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written, able to collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with the business and data analysts as well as others within the enterprise and be able to provide technical guidance and solve their needs. Able to troubleshoot and support any Microstrategy reports, dashboards, and data integration processes. Strong documentation experience. Must have strong Informatica / ETL Powercenter SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS. Exceptional Comm skills and able to interact with other areas within the enterprise Enterprise level experience - Big Data Exp Must have strong SQL Exp -able to retrieve/manipulate data efficiently, advanced level SQL query exp. SSRS/SSIS Experience at least 1 year (create/deploy/manage) Big plus experience with Snowflake not required - they feel a strong Microstrategy Developer will pick up Snowflake easily. Solid validation skills - ability to perform unit & systems testing Independent, fast learner, team player, & good communication skills Ability to interact directly with business users a must - exceptional comm/written/verbal skills Keywords: business intelligence |
