Nature of Job

In this role, you are responsible for managing a backlog, supporting delivery teams and approving changes before they are deployed. You will focus on how to develop products that support the corporate vision and deliver an outstanding user experience. Working with the Product Managers and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing backlog items which deliver the most business value based on known information.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works with Product Managers and business stakeholders to create and manage a product backlog, making strategic adjustments as needed based on evolving corporate priorities and the availability of resources and technology.

Works with the project managers, development team, scrum master, business analysts, user experience architects, user acceptance testers and quality assurance teams to ensure successful delivery of quality products.

Participates in scrum meetings including but not limited to:

Daily Stand ups

Sprint reviews

Sprint planning sessions

Sprint retrospectives

Backlog refinement and grooming sessions

Product demonstrations

Works with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather required details.

Owns and maintains the product backlog and is accountable for it's contents, prioritization and acceptance criteria.

Creates clear, actionable user stories and documentation based on the product roadmap.

Understands regulatory, compliance and other industry requirements and prioritizes projects accordingly.

Provides regular updates to stakeholders and training prior to roll out.

Participates in the evaluation process and serves as a resource for Production Support.

Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
