| Dear vendors, Please share the profile for Client: WWT Job Title: Network Firewall Engineer Location: HYBRID (Required to go onsite twice a week) Location: Cumberland, RI 02864 Duration: 6-12 months Our client is currently going through a Firewall migration where they are migrating from Checkpoint Firewalls to Next-Gen Cisco Firewalls (including Cisco ASA, Cisco ICE firewalls) Their current environment consists of 20% Checkpoint Firewalls, and 80% Firepower (Cisco ASA Firewalls). Senior Firewall Engineer (x2) Location: HYBRID (Required to go onsite twice a week) Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in network security engineering, with specific experience in Checkpoint Firewall and Cisco ASA/Firepower technologies is REQUIRED. Cisco FTD Must (Real World Experience),, Cisco ASA, and Checkpoint Firewalls is REQUIRED. Worked in the firewall compliance space and knows to follow best practices in the industry. Firewall upgrade, RMA, migration, or refresh experience is REQUIRED. DNS, Proxy, Routing, and Switching experience is REQUIRED. Tufin, Cloud Experience, Automation Scripting, Engineering Experience is REQUIRED. Worked in the firewall compliance space and knows to follow best practices in the industry. Regulatory control standards experience. Proven track record in successfully leading firewall migration projects from Checkpoint to Cisco Next-Gen firewalls is REQUIRED. Need someone who understands Checkpoint and can take Checkpoint and break it down and see what the rule is talking about from a Checkpoint standpoint, as well as someone who understands from ground level how do they move a checkpoint device from layer 1 to layer 7. Need someone that has the willingness to learn, and someone who is a self-starter is REQUIRED. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex network security issues related to the migration.
