International degrees in general are fine but just giving the heads up on certain preferences. This role is looking for candidates who have both Data Analyst skills but are also a true Business Analyst. They need to have an understanding of Data and SQL. Must be able to perform SQL queries but will be serving as a Business Analyst such as gathering requirements for the Database Team. Because this client has had so many submissions with candidates either being fake or not truly residing in the SF Bay area, many times they have been requesting candidates for onsite interview without much notice. Please make sure your candidate can be onsite for an interview and is local to the area prior to submitting. Right now the team sits remotely for the most part but things may change in the future and they may have occasional in office meetings which will be mandatory so again, please make sure the candidate is aware of this and comfortable with it as well. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven professional with strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Leads project stakeholders in the analysis process, interacting to elicit and document data project requirements Assists in the prioritization, planning, communication, and coordination of projects. Produces professional quality project artifacts including but not limited to business requirements documents, use cases, issue logs, test cases, and other documents as needed. Documents requirements and works with technical teams to provide solutions to promote data integrity in enterprise systems. Serves as a critical resource and liaison between subject matter experts and technical experts throughout the project lifecycle. Leads the requirement gathering, technical scoping, and data mapping discussions. Assists in the estimates of the time required to deliver project artifacts and reports progress toward delivery goals throughout the project. Identifies and communicates both risks and solutions Participates in the testing, QA, and training of a product. Assist in application support and management of defects, enhancements, and change requests. Able to work across programs and on multiple parallel tasks. Demonstrated ability to function equally well as a thought leader, cross functional team member or individual self-starter.
