Do share me your updated resume on [email protected] Position: Lead Business Analyst (Data Governance) Location: Memphis, TN (REMOTE) Duration: 2+ Months Contract Summary : The Lead Business Analyst will provide support for various IT projects involving Data Governance initiatives Must have experience with gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements according to Agile methodologies Must have experience with Data Governance, Data Catalog, and Metadata Management Responsibilities : Support the development team in writing epics, themes, and user stories for building business requirements pertaining to Data Governance initiatives Elicit and collaborate with Business Stakeholders to define business processes, improvements, and business objectives with focus on system capabilities and integration points Use Agile Scrum framework to define cross-functional requirements for data product or data platform development Use exceptional client-facing and team leadership skills to listen emphatically to stakeholders, gather requirements, and create solutions to exceed their expectations Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the implementation of Metadata Management processes Recommend and create Data Governance policies to ensure best practices are followed for Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lineage, Reference Data, Metadata, and Master Data Management (MDM) Create Data Quality rules and disseminate this information out to the business and technical teams Analyze data and partner with data owners, data stewards, as well as other business and IT stakeholders to ensure governance functions are adhered to Translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment Analyze business processes and gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces, and process changes required to address capability gaps Use strong business acumen, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills, to understand how decisions impact timelines and budget Create presentations for use in meetings, including planning, requirements, and architecture review, with support from other team members Qualifications : 7+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience as a Business Analyst, including working on at least 2 large-scale Data Governance implementation projects Must have experience with gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements according to Agile methodologies Must have experience with using MS Excel for exploring and analyzing data Must have experience with Data Governance, Data Catalog, and Metadata Management Experience with Informatica Axon and Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) is preferred A strong background involving Agile Project Management and Sprint Deployments is preferred Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps Server for scheduling and resource planning Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff Bachelors Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered CSM/CSPO/PMP Certifications are preferred Best Regards Satya Kori Technical Recruiter DMS Visions Inc.
