Remember, this is "ETL Glue" not just AWS "Glue." If they don't have ETL Glue but have solid Spark skills, that will work.FYI, Scala skills are also preferable, and someone with robust Scala experience will elevate the candidate over someone with more years of experience who does not have Scala. Sr AWS Python Developer Location: Malvern, PA 6 month Video/phone Responsibilities Build Python applications or processes on the AWS cloud environment. Maintain third-party solutions to help with data privacy initiatives Translates technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports. Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients. Performs systems analysis activities. Qualifications: Looking for candidates with 8-10 years of development experience in AWS and Data Engineering experience 5 year experience is must in AWS services (S3, lambda , DynamoDB, CloudFormation, ETL Glue ,Step Functions) Strong hands-on development experience in Python (including unit testing and library/utility building) Strong understanding of Spark/PySpark Experience with Scala is highly desirable Experience in maintaining third-party solutions on AWS is a plus Experience in Data Privacy and Governance is a plus Keywords: sthree Pennsylvania |
