Job Title: SW Test Engineer

Location:  Cambridge, MA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

test team members, software architects and developers. Track new product functionality and maintain and enhance testing infrastructure, integrating new tools and technologies in a continuously evolving environment.

You are responsible for:

Reviewing (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability

Functional and automated SW verification

Identifying manual processes and inefficiencies and improving them through automation

Implementing test automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)

Developing automated regression and functional test suites

Consulting within scrum teams on test planning; participating in scrum team testing, planning and demo activities

Supporting design changes for quality impact

Cross group collaboration in a cross functional, cross-discipline environment

You will be part of a large team of experienced professionals with varying technical & clinical backgrounds, many
with more than 10 years of software verification experience. There is a strong focus within the team on knowledge transfer, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  Acquiring new skills and knowledge as it relates to healthcare technology is constant &

To succeed in this role,

youll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Biomedical Engineering or relevant equivalent
technical experience

Experience testing highly critical real-time large-scale distributed client-server applications
(preferably healthcare)

Understanding and experience with testing of Mobile (Android and iOS) applications

Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity combined with
strong personality

Extensive testing background and thorough understanding of test techniques, application and execution
including Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Functional Testing, System Testing, System Integration and Test Automation

Self-starter, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies

Desired Qualifications:

Experienced in the deployment of enterprise wide network solutions in healthcare

Knowledge of SAFe Agile process/workflow

Knowledgeable of Cloud technologies and experience testing in a Cloud environment

Knowledgeable of virtualization (ex. VMWare, HyperV, Nutanix) and experience testing in a virtualized
environment

Experience writing test cases in Gherkin language

Knowledgeable of TCP/IP, Cisco equipment & configurations, routing and switching

Experience with HL7/medical device interfacing

Experience tracking and reporting test results

Experience in Medical Device industry and FDA regulated

environment
