Position : Insight TEE & CCF Engineer Location : Remote- Prefer West Coast ( CA and Washington State ) or NJ , MD area Duration : Long term Contract Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, security, and usability of software applications. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing. Identify and report defects, bugs, and issues using a defect tracking system, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Conduct test data preparation, including creating and maintaining test data sets and environments. Execute automated tests using testing tools and frameworks, and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement. Participate in the review and analysis of software specifications and requirements, providing input to enhance the software's quality and testability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of testing activities and the timely delivery of high-quality software. Document and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, and share knowledge and insights with the team. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a software tester or quality assurance analyst, with a focus on SDAT. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices. Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications. Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Familiarity with different types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects. Knowledge of defect tracking systems and experience in defect management and resolution processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow test procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate test results and issues. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or Python, is a plus. Relevant software testing certifications, such as ISTQB, are a plus.
