Data Architect/Scientist NEED CANDIDATE WHO WORKED WITH MORCROSOFT OR KAISER PERMANANTE in PAST- MANDATORY Locations: Remote- Prefer West Coast ( CA and Washington State ) or NJ , MD area Client Location Sacramento CA Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, objectives, and data requirements for generating actionable insights. Design and develop data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient and effective data collection, storage, processing, and analysis. Identify and define data sources, including internal and external data, and establish data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to transform and integrate data from multiple sources into a unified data platform. Apply data analysis techniques and statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets. Develop and maintain data visualization and reporting solutions to present insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure data availability, consistency, and accuracy for insights generation. Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data architecture, data management, and data analytics. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams in utilizing data and insights to drive business decisions and strategies. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data platforms and solutions align with security and privacy requirements, such as GDPR or HIPAA. Evaluate and recommend data tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve insights generation. Lead and facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into technical solutions. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and identify growth opportunities based on data analysis. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Deep & hands-on knowledge of Power BI is a must Proven experience as a data architect, data engineer, or similar role, with a focus on generating insights from data. Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data management principles. Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and other relevant programming languages, such as Python or R. Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with other data visualization tools, such as Tableauor QlikView, to present insights and reports. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms for data analysis and pattern recognition. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (primarily AzureCloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA, and experience implementing data governance practices is a plus. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), are a plus.
