Azure Devops Architect Locations: Remote- Prefer West Coast ( CA and Washington State ) or NJ , MD area Client Location Sacramento CA NEED CANDIDATE WHO WORKED WITH MORCROSOFT OR KAISER PERMANANTE in PAST- MANDATORY Responsibilities: Design and implement Azure DevOps solutions and architecture to enable efficient and automated software delivery and infrastructure management. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical needs, and desired outcomes for Azure DevOps implementation. Define and establish DevOps processes, best practices, and standards across the organization. Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools, such as Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts. Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or other relevant tools. Configure and manage Azure services and resources for application deployment, monitoring, and management. Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are addressed in the Azure DevOps architecture and implementation. Evaluate and recommend Azure services, tools, and technologies to optimize the Azure DevOps ecosystem and improve productivity. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders on Azure DevOps practices and implementation. Collaborate with security teams to implement security measures, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks within the Azure DevOps processes. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Azure DevOps, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking opportunities to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall Azure DevOps architecture. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure DevOps architect, DevOps engineer, or similar role, with expertise in architecting and implementing Azure DevOps solutions. Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD concepts, and cloud-native development. Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools, such as Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, and Azure Boards. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and technologies, such as Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or Ansible. Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Knowledge of configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, for infrastructure and application deployment. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or ELK Stack. Hands-on knowledge with Terraform to provision several key platform resources Knowledge of setting up DevOps pipelines in Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) Good to have Knowledge of Azure Confidential Computing Knowledge of key management tools e.g., PMK and CMK Strong understanding of Azure services and resources for application deployment, networking, and security. Knolwedge of setting up workload observability using Azure Monitor Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or other relevant languages. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
