Role: Project Manager Duration: 12 Month Location: Malvern, PA Onsite MOI: Video/phone Exp: 12+ The program is to develop strategy/plans in the event Vanguard is hit by a Cyberattack. Detailed plans, processes, and tech needs are being developed to address the period b/w Vanguard being hit by an attack and the time to restore and begin operating again. This is not (yet) a Regulatory need but rather Vanguard being proactive (sounds like they have seen other firms get hit and want to have a good plan in place) The Project Manager candidate should have: Be a seasoned PM - confident and comfortable leading teams of bus and IT folks Have a good understanding of Asset Management, Investment Management - doesn't have to be able to recommend solutions but has familiarity in the domain, knows key terms, understands major functions in Front/Middle/Back Office (knows what Fund Accounting is, knows what Investment Management/Operations is, knows what Corporate actions are, knows trading terms, knows what portfolio management is, knows what major security classes are like stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, etc.) At the high level, the Program is more Waterfall There can be some opportunities for Scrum/Agile at the individual project work streams level - PM needs to be comfortable with both Exposure to Cybersex project work is a plus they will have the right domain backgrounds (not retail banking or credit cards) Strong skills in preparing project plans, managing timelines/milestones, escalating issues - holding people accountable to the plan Jatin Parashar.
