As a DevOps Consultant, you will be responsible for streamlining our software developmen We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Consultant with expertise in Atlassian/Jira tool chain, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Database Liquibase to join our team. As a DevOps Consultant, you will be responsible for streamlining our software development and release processes, implementing efficient CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring smooth integration of our Informatica ETL and Database deployment processes. Your expertise in Jira, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Database Liquibase will be crucial in optimizing our development workflows and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our software infrastructure. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand project requirements, goals, and constraints. Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines for Informatica ETL and Database processes. Develop and maintain automated build, test, and deployment scripts for various software projects. Configure and customize Jira tool chain to support agile development methodologies and project management processes. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to resolve issues and ensure smooth software delivery. Implement best practices for version control, release management, and branching strategies using Git and Bitbucket. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team on software deployment and release processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software builds, deployments, and environment configurations. Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations throughout the software development lifecycle. Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps processes. Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Consultant or similar role, with a focus on Atlassian/Jira tool chain, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Database Liquibase. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles. Hands-on experience with Jira administration and customization, including workflows, boards, and reporting. Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines. Familiarity with Informatica ETL processes and experience developing Bitbucket Pipelines for Informatica ETL. Experience with Database Liquibase for managing database schema changes and version control. Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git and Bitbucket. Solid scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or other relevant languages. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
