| Role: SAP SME MM/PP Location: Remote + Travel Client Paid Duration: 3-6+ month Contract Visa: USC / GC *They wanted to hire someone ideally but not coming up with the right candidates. Needs someone asap. MM/PP consultants with heavy manufacturing experience working w/integrating shop floor and quality systems into S4. 50 % travel but fluctuates. Sometime no travel and other times a lot. Most travel east of the Mississippi so Indiana, Georgia, Ohio, PA Florida and Louisiana. Job Summary: The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is the solution expert of one or more functional area/module in SAP responsible for defining business requirements and recommending a technical approach to meet those needs. The SME oversees the development of technical solution, validates that the final product satisfies the requirements and maintains technical and project documentation. Required Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in IT/Business Minimum five years experience working with SAP or variant in hands-on project environment Minimum five years experience in enterprise level SAP projects using waterfall methodology throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success Minimum five years experience defining business requirements, writing Functional Design Documents (FDD) Possess excellent oral and written communication Minimum five years experience writing FDDs Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite Expert level experience of SAP modules, underlying architecture and designing SAP software components Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices and deployment methodologies Excellent decision- making skills Experience with integration of SAP with other business systems Job Responsibilities: Creates the Functional Design Documentation (FDD) Creates and maintains test scripts for Clients SAP Templates Creates and maintains the training material for Clients SAP Templates Proactively engages with solution proposals Collaborates with the Global Solutions Architects to ensure template consistency Supports multiple projects and BAU activities Reviews and supports testing of the developer ode for developments in conjunction with developers and liaises and resolves faults identified with the data migration, integration and testing teams in support of testing cycles Keywords: materials management sfour information technology golang green card Pennsylvania |
