Backend Developer (Python JS) Locations: Remote- Prefer West Coast ( CA and Washington State ) or NJ , MD area First Preference- NEED CANDIDATES who worked with (Microsoft or Kaiser Permanent) in past Second Preference Healthcare Domain experience for at least 5 years Responsibilities: Develop server-side logic using Python and related frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid. Design and implement efficient and scalable database models and schemas. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and database tuning. Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and debugging. Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or identified through monitoring and logging systems. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in backend development and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries/frameworks, such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid. Experience in building and integrating with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Proficiency in writing efficient and optimized SQL queries. Deep understanding of Python WAF Good to have knowledge in LangChain framework with Python Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong sense of teamwork. Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
