[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Azure Cloud Technology Consultant (15+ Years) Location: 100% Remote Client: Parexel Job Summary : As an Azure Technology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, technical leadership, and strategic advice to our clients in adopting and optimizing Azure cloud solutions. Your role will involve understanding client requirements, designing and implementing Azure-based architectures, and ensuring the successful deployment of cloud-based applications and databases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities : Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, technical needs, and objectives. Design and architect scalable and secure cloud solutions on the Azure platform, leveraging Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings. Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including solution architectures, deployment plans, and best practices. Provide expert guidance on database design, migration, optimization, and performance tuning for both on-premises and cloud-based environments. Implement and configure Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, and others, based on client requirements. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance for Azure-based solutions. Collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes. Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of Azure-based applications and databases. Stay up to date with the latest Azure platform updates, emerging cloud technologies, and industry best practices. Provide technical mentorship and training to junior team members and clients' technical staff. Act as a subject matter expert in Azure platform technologies, presenting technical insights, recommendations, and business cases to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Extensive experience (15+ years) working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including proficiency in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings. Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions, including serverless architectures, microservices, containers, and hybrid cloud environments. Proven experience with Azure database services, such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for MySQL, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and access management (IAM), and data encryption methodologies. Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools, as well as the ability to assess workloads for migration to Azure. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or similar tools. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications in Azure, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Database Administrator Associate, are highly desirable.
