From: srini, plenium corp [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Business Analyst/Technical Writer Location Columbia, SC Duration of the Contract 5 Years Client: South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Interview Type Phone/Skype Duties and Responsibilities: Team role is to assist Architects, Product Owners, and other team members with soliciting, documenting, and tracking business requirements. Prepares technical documentation for consumption by project stakeholders. The BA will serve as a liaison between business and technical units to facilitate clear articulation and delivery of solutions to business process needs. Work with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences of varying levels of technical and business knowledge. Organize, write, and edit supporting technical and project documents as needed. Design, develop, and implement decision models, rule sets, and decision tables using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) tools. Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using IBM ODM tools. Education: Bachelors / masters degree in computer science, Business, or similar. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 5 years in technical writing with 3 years in IT Projects. At least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on decision management and rules engines. Strong expertise in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) tools, including Rule Designer, Decision Center, Decision Server, and Decision Server Insights. Proficiency in modeling decision tables, rule flows, and decision trees using IBM ODM tools. Experience working with state clients directly in a client-facing role or a Health Care setting. Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Experience with SDLC and agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Knowledge of the Medicaid encounter processing is a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and the Google Tool Suite. Familiarity with defect management tools (HP ALM, Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.) Additional Qualifications: Relevant certifications in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) tools or business analysis (e.g., IBM Certified Decision Management Business Analyst) will be a plus. *Candidates chosen for an interview will meet the Education, General Experience, and Specialized Experience requirements.
