Role: Sitecore Developer Location: Remote Duration: 06+ Months with possible extension Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Senior Sitecore Developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team at Blue Cross Blue Shield. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing complex Sitecore-powered websites and applications. Additionally, the Senior Sitecore Developer will be involved in creating and maintaining broker portals and CMS reporting solutions, making use of various technologies, including .NET C#, API service development, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps. Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of large-scale Sitecore projects, utilizing Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) 9.x and later. Design and implement headless JSS to enhance frontend performance and improve user experiences. Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and UX designers to gather requirements and define project scope. Develop custom .NET MVC components, API services, and RESTful APIs to support broker portals and seamless data integration. Optimize SQL Server databases for efficient data storage and reporting for CMS reporting solutions. Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration, version control, and deployment to ensure efficient project workflows and timely deliveries. Implement responsive web design using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces. Provide technical guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices to maintain high code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sitecore projects and broker portal applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience as a Sitecore Developer, with expertise in Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) 9.x and later. Proven experience with headless JSS, .NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, API service development, and Microsoft Azure. Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS, with a focus on responsive design principles. Experience working on broker portals and CMS reporting solutions will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and using Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
