Role: : Network Engineer || USC AND GC || Location: NYC, NY ( Hybrid - Local candidate only) Job Summary: Responsibilities & Skills: Manage Datacenter and Office network infrastructures including, but not limited to MACDs, upgrades, re-engineering, and new designs. Manage office networks comprised of IOS routers and switches. Manage Firewall devices from initial implementation to firewall rules, IPS rules, VPNs, NAT and routing protocols. Manage and deploy remote user networks connected by VPN. Manage and maintain DNS load balancing and global dns configurations. Automate MACDs across the entire network device portfolio where necessary. Manage and maintain SD-WAN network. Experience in Market Data network deployments such as Bloomberg, Refinitive, etc. Manage telecommunications circuits and vendors. Troubleshoot problems utilizing various tools. Manage day-to-day operations of Datacenters and office Comms Room including, but not limited to rack and stack, power connections, premise wiring& cabling neatly. Maintain (and create new) documentation including, but not limited to diagrams, run books, short instructional documents. Packet capture and analysis utilizing wireshark and other tools. Ability to document and communicate changes that are approved and follow change management protocols. Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Communicate with all level of users when needed. Meticulous attention to detail. Self-manage projects and tasks. Ability to work well either alone or with other teams. Experience in: Cisco ACI ( a plus) with VMM Integration Cisco Firewalls ASA, Firepower, Cisco Routing and Switching Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc. Network Security Network Protocols F5 Load Balancer, Global DNS Cisco/Meraki wireless.
