Hi, I hope you are doing well Please find the Jd mentioned below Role: Sr. DevOps Consultant with GCP Location: Timonium, Maryland, Starting 3 days onsite Duration: Long Term Visa: OPT-EAD, GC-EAD, GC and USC only Interview Mode: Video interview Job Summary: The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the software development infrastructure and operations. The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for integrating security into all aspects of the software development infrastructure, operations, and deployment processes. The engineer will work closely with developers, quality assurance, operations, and Infosec teams to automate and streamline the development and release process. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing tools and processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain the software development infrastructure and operations. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and streamline the development and release process. Collaborate with developers, security teams, and operations to ensure that security is an integral part of the software development lifecycle. Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and tools. Build and maintain security-related automation and orchestration. Monitor and maintain application and infrastructure performance and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the development and release process. Implement and manage monitoring and logging tools. Implement and manage security tools and processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Document infrastructure and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and scalability. Participate in incident response and disaster recovery activities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR) Implement security tools and technologies to automate security processes.. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 8+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or related field Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices Experience with infrastructure as code tools (such as Terraform, Argo or Ansible) Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes Experience with containerization technologies (such as Docker and Kubernetes) Knowledge of cloud platforms (prefer Azure or GCP) Strong scripting and automation skills (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) Experience with security tools and technologies (such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewalls) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with RedHat Openshift preferred Experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security tools and processes (such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and access management) Experience with Agile methodologies Experience with performance optimization and scaling of applications and infrastructure Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns Experience with database management and administration (such as MySQL or Couchbase) Experience with infrastructure as code (such as Terraform or Config Connector and use of YAML) Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements (such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR) Kind Regards, Sugam Saurav Talent Acquisition [email protected] Intellicept Inc - A Division of McKinsol Consulting Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst golang green card |
