Position: Sr Data Architect (Onsite) Location: Onsite (Mansfield MA or Dallas, TX) Duration: 12 Months VISA- No H1B Job Description: 10+ Years Data Engineer, with heavy AWS, SQL, EWD Design, and knowledge of all AWS environment tools. 10+ years experience as a Data Architect in the analytics space. - Experience in defining and driving the implementation of modern data lake solutions using AWS services. - Capable of defining, building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket. - Can provide technical leadership for a team of techno-functional Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and DevOps resources. - Must have a strong ERP OLTP structure understanding and an ERP functional background in order to interpret requirements and design solutions that meet specific operational and analytical data exploration needs. - Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to work directly with key stakeholders in the Business and within Corporate IT leadership. - Should have experience in Agile Scrum methodology using Jira software. Competencies, Skills and Abilities - Proactive problem solver, taking measures to prevent/minimize problems before they occur - Resourceful when presented with a new task or issue; able to quickly locate relevant documentation (esp. For AWS technologies), example solutions, and bring this knowledge to bear on the task/issue - JIRA usage (ideally Miro) - Clear and precise verbal and written communicator - Documentation writing - Ability to summarize data architectures diagramatically (e.g. PowerPoint, LucidChart, Visio) - Ability to effectively communicate with users at all levels of the organization Education & Experience - Deep hands-on experience with AWS services S3, Glue blueprints/workflows/jobs/data catalog, Athena basics, and ideally QuickSight basics - Familiar with o AWS: S3, Glue/Glue Studio, Airflow, Lake Formation, Athena, IAM, Python o Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL - B.Sc. or higher - AWS Certification(s) Preferred If you are interested, please share your updated resume and suggest the best number & time to connect with you.
