| Hi All, Urgent Requirment Java Developer - Sunnyvale, CA As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and software testers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities Designing and implementing Java-based applications using object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts. Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Developing and integrating backend services, APIs, and databases to support application functionality. Conducting thorough testing of the application to identify and fix bugs, ensuring proper functionality and performance. Troubleshooting and debugging issues reported by users or quality assurance (QA) team members. Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to established coding standards. Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in Java development and applying them to improve software quality and development processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement software architecture and design patterns. Optimizing application performance by analyzing and fine-tuning code, database queries, and system configurations. Documenting technical specifications, system design, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and future maintenance. Working closely with software testers to resolve any issues identified during the testing phase. Providing technical support and guidance to other team members when needed. Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns. Experience with web application development using Java-based frameworks (e.g., JavaServer Pages (JSP), Servlets, JSF, Spring MVC). Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of relational databases and experience working with SQL. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment. Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. However, equivalent work experience and relevant certifications can also be considered. Proven experience in Java application development. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus.
