Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Remote Duration: Long-term Contract Looking for USC with 10+ years of experience candidates only Day-to-Day Work Responsibilities: Maintain and Develop Java/J2EE code Perform peer reviews on other team members code Perform Unit Testing on Code Changes Provide support and trouble shoot System Operations Issues Provide Database design and architecture analysis and maintenance Participate in customer Configuration Control Board and Engineering meetings Maintain System Documentation If working remote, travel to New Jersey may be required (less than 10%) Qualifications Basic Qualifications: BS Degree and 8-10 years experience or MS degree with 6-8 years experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with minimum 12 years experience U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance Experience developing alternative approaches to design, test and evaluation techniques, evaluating and recommending the optimum solutions, while balancing specific project needs with economic constraints Experience forming architectural designs, functional specifications, interfaces for computer systems, while considering system interrelationships, operating modes, and equipment configurations At least 10 years of experience using the following: JAVA/J2EE Oracle 12.2/SQL Linux Operating System (7.9) JavaScript Web Services Logic Linux shell scripting PL/SQL XML SOAP Preferred Qualifications: Federal Aviation Administration Experience a plus Previous experience working in a software development Agile environment Experience with the following technologies Talend JBoss JMS AIXM 5.1 Geospatial/GeoServer Best Regards, Chandra Keywords: microsoft procedural language |
