Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Develops and works within project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Focuses on providing strong technical SDLC expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as to be subject matter expert within the backend software development stack. Skills Primary Responsibilities: Backend "hands-on" development including triage, design, coding and implementation within public cloud focusing on Databricks and/or Snowflake data analytics platform Interface and develop with data behind-the-scenes by creating APIs with programming languages like Java or Python. Perform code reviews with scrum teams to approve for Production deployment Conduct research to identify new solutions and methods to fulfill diverse and evolving business needs Identify and drive process improvement opportunities REQUIRED Experience: 6-10+ years of software development within programming languages: Java (Springboot), python Knowledge of working in Databricks or Snowflake 6-10+ years experience being past of Agile teams and working in Agile methodology At least 3 years Experience in security and data access protection within data analytics Experience in Microservice Architecture Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL and relational databases Unit Testing, Test Driven Development and use of mocking frameworks. Experience in diverse technology stacks including AWS Experience deploying code using AWS, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
