Experience on testing for ETL Loads (preferably Talend) & BI Reports(Preferable Power BI) is required. Experience in writing SQL,PL/SQL(preferable in Snowflake). Strong testing background with hands on experience with Zephyr tool and automation tools like Tosca. Provide test ownership of the QA and testing of multiple projects. Experience working in testing projects in Retail & Supply Chain domain. Strong understanding of software development life cycle SDLC and software testing lifecycle STLC using agile iterative model. Strong experience with all types of testing including functional system integration, regression, user acceptance testing, data integration testing etc. Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Capability in managing the testing projects right from requirement analysis, preparing test strategies, estimation, schedule tracking and UAT support. Have strong Test Management Defect Management skills. Ability to create test metrics and reporting to senior management and PMO executives. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, JIRA, MS Office 365 (Confluence, Excel, Word, Presentation). Excellent Team player with strong Analytical, Logical skills and Good communications skills. Proven Experience in interfacing liaising with clients to efficiently communicate the needs of the QA team. Ability to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. High energy, self-motivation, attention to detail, creativity, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure. Flexibility to work additional hours on an as needed basis to meet deadlines and with offshore team. Review and analyze functional requirements to ensure that requirements are testable. Work with SMEs to get requirement clarifications. Communicate gap, inconsistency, or errors on the functional requirements to the Business Analyst. Translate the business functional requirements into high level test scenarios with test estimation, create test plan, and provide test estimates to QA Lead for project scheduling purpose. Develop detailed test cases utilizing Zephyr, ensure that tests cover all features of the system (happy path and edge cases), and ensure the complete test-to-requirement coverage. Work with the developers to identify and prepare test data needed for the test execution. Perform QA software testing including manual functional, web usability, system integration, regression, and backend database validation. Perform data validation on the backend Snowflake database by writing SQL queries and using Tosca automation tool. Document software issues on Zephyr and assist development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of issues found. Work collaboratively with project team to communicate testing progress and status, attend defect triage meeting to prioritize and track defects to closure, discuss project updates and issues to ensure appropriate follow through to resolution Provide weekly status to QA Lead, Scrum master to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and testing requirements.
