Job Description We are a growing company looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT Infrastructure team. If you're passionate about building, deploying, and managing internal Linux infrastructure, and if you thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Build, manage, and support complex appstacks on Linux Servers. Provide Linux troubleshooting and technical support. Collaborate in the development of technical designs and provide solution recommendations. Partner with vendors, internal IT Engineers, and business partners to develop solutions aligned with departmental roadmaps. Work with other engineering teams and third-party vendors to solve problems and implement scalable solutions. Contribute to coordinated solution delivery within the broader IT team. Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to identify, remediate, and prevent issues & risks. Provide guidance on and help maintain standard operating procedures. Participate in a partial 24/7 on-call schedule. Manage and monitor all installed Linux systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and working with developers to implement solutions. Write and maintain custom scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce human intervention time. Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of experience on the following Systems Engineering for Corporate Infrastructure Managing large server estates for Linux Virtualization at scale Configuration Management Managing scalable storage Developing and maintaining supporting metrics for systems Strong understanding of basic networking concepts. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented approach to collaboration. Experience writing design documents and maintaining documentation. Familiarity with working in a source-controlled environment. Demonstrated scripting capability in Python or Perl. Knowledge of NetApp storage arrays. VCP/VCAP certification(s). NetApp certification(s). Experience with standard development practices, tools, and DevOps tools (e.g., CI, orchestration). Proficient with VMware services, including VMware data center virtualization and VMware Horizon.
