Job Description:-

TOP requirements:

Transforming and modernizing platforms with strong experience on API and micro services

Must have Healthcare Payer experience.

Experience leading migrations initiatives both on-prem and cloud solution architecture.

Working knowledge of EDI (such as HL7) Health transactions, split transactions, and proprietary EDI transaction specific to healthcare

Key Competencies:

Solid understanding of the EDI needs and processes of both small and large organizations with the ability to implement best-of-breed, enterprise-class solutions to support rapid growth.

Will lead both on-prem and cloud solution architecture initiatives and come up with appropriate solution architecture recommendations.

Working knowledge of EDI Health transactions and proprietary formats

Brings architecture alignment, provides governance, and participates in technical review meetings at the team and enterprise level to help finalize design decisions and solution architecture with leadership team.

Ability to translate business needs into high-level technical specifications and design.

Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.

Proficient in EDI configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.

Essential Functions:

Keeps a keen eye on industry best practices, current and emerging trends, learns and adopts to new solutions quickly to produce architecture keeping scalability, flexibility, reliability, performance, cost of operation and maintenance as guiding principles.

Translate business and technical requirements for integrations into an architectural blueprint/roadmap to achieve business objectives. Understand needs and define efficient, scalable, and high-performance enterprise-level integration solution architecture and design.

Serves as primary resource of knowledge and experience as a technical contact for internal and external stakeholders on any EDI-related issue

Diagnoses EDI process problems of a complex nature, coordinating with other technical and/or business resources as necessary for assistance.

Designs, develops, tests, and implements new software applications and EDI programs, maps, and processes through entire life cycle.

Designs, configures, installs and maintains solutions for the administration of production system batch processes, including setup, configuration, installation and scheduling.

Work closely with other teams to remediate all EDI issues, i.e. (server, network, database, etc.)

Participates in the IT Change Management process to lead, schedule and support EDI related changes.

Technology Experience:

Experience using any one of container technologies. VMware Tanzu or Kubernetes based container technologies like OpenShift and AWS EKS.

Experience in healthcare industry and domain expertise in one or more of claims, Enrollment, EDI transactions, Eligibility, Referrals and Authorizations.

AWS managed services to build cloud native applications is highly desired. Experience with DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, Postgres SQL etc.

Strong prior development background building enterprise scale REST APIs using Java, Java EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud services.

Prior experience in modernizing legacy applications, migrating monolithic code to microservices architectures, performance tuning and application monitoring, conducting cost benefit, risk analysis etc.

Experience designing event driven systems leveraging message broker, event bus and streaming technologies likeU, AWS Managed Kafka, Confluent connectors etc.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience with API security standards like Oauth, SAML, 2way SSL. Experience with API Gateways like Apigee, AWS API Gateway etc.

Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and methodologies like Jenkins, maven, Jira, ServiceNow, GitLab, Junit, Blue/Green etc.

Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience:

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent is required. Masters degree is a plus.

Minimum of 8 years of technology experience

Healthcare payer experience and handling health transactions

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading architecture discussions, decision making, and collaborating with other architecture teams in the enterprise.

Cloud & Agile certifications e.g., AWS Developer or Solutions Architect.

Strong communication skills with the abilities to communicate with technical & non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization.
