Position: QA Engineer Peoplesoft Location: Austin, TX ( Remote- Prefer candidate is located in Austin area, must be located in TX) Client: State Of Texas Solicitation Number: 529400606 Interview Type: Video Position Description: Short Description: Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of a Test Automation Engineer who meets the general qualification of DIR QA Engineer Automated 3. The Test Automation Engineer will be part of a dedicated PeopleSoft Financials upgrade project team. The core duties will include developing and running automated test scripts for performance and load testing, creating manual test scripts, and running manual tests. Additional duties include other project activities as needs arise in documentation, system testing, and reporting test results. Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team with collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Also, the candidate must be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively. TERM OF SERVICE Services are expected to start 9/1/23 and are expected to be completed by 8/31/24. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 2000 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
