Position: Business Analyst Payments/Life Insurance domain Location: Cary, NC ( Day 1 Onsite - Hybrid ) Client: Oracle / MetLife No OPT / CPT / GC EAD Passport Number Must for H1 / H4EAD / L2EAD LinkedIn created after 2018 will not fly. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the application portfolio. Serve as primary liaison between the customer and technical resources. Develop/maintain comprehensive end-to-end understanding of solution design. Own all aspects of requirement documentation including requirements gathering, standards alignment, and developing strategies to improve these processes. Document, create and execute test strategy and conditions. Enforce adherence to the software development lifecycle and security policies. Provide support to consulting and technical teams in different processes including design, testing and deployment and assist different teams on unit level and organizational initiatives. Experience required: Must have Insurance domain knowledge on Life, Annuity, and new Insurance areas such as Pet Insurance Understand customer issues, diagnose problems, design solutions, and facilitate solution deployment, lead small projects, and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives WITH the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to the customer WITHIN the guidelines, policies, and norms of Oracle. Understanding of various applications used in life insurance industry including Policy administration system, agent management system or peripheral application including web portals. Should have experience on at least one Policy administration system (Vantage/Ingenium/OIPA/IPAS/ALIP/EXIGEN) and exposure to external interfacing systems to administration systems. Should have good understanding of Payments and Collections processes related to Insurance Products and business life cycles. Analyze the requirements by demonstrating strong process/solution/product knowledge, understanding of the business/IT scenario, understanding of constraints in implementation and technology. Participate in client discussions to understand customer problems, articulate to stakeholders, identify solution bringing the best industry and company practices. Conduct requirements workshops, understand the AS IS processes/ Current System Study and identify high level process/system changes. Arrive at possible solution alternatives that factor in gap resolution, impact on related functional areas, acceptability of the solution to the user community, technical feasibility, and efficiency. Conduct knowledge transition sessions with support team in the functional areas and impart knowledge on business context, solution design, open issues, possible issues. Prepare artifacts for marketing and GTM solution activities including case studies IN ORDER TO build collateral for marketing initiatives. Good understanding of technology system interfaces and data integration, networks, and operating systems. Knowledge of Business Process Modeling using decision tables/trees and data flows, etc. Proven application of analytical skills and solution focused mindset. Familiarity with project management methods (SDLC, PMI, ITIL, Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Qualifications: Should have BE/BTech/MCA or MBA qualification from reputed institute along with work experience in business system analysis and application development. Insurance certifications such as LOMA / FLMI / AAPA / CLU preferred. CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) certification preferred.
