They need to have many years of software engineering experience building commercial grade customer facing software that was used at scale by atleast a few thousand users every month.. Something like 10 12 years experience range is the sweet spot 2. Few years of web front-end development experience with JavaScript and CSS. 5+ years generally seems to be a sweet spot. 3. Few years of experience with each of the following : C#; AngularJS; Elasticsearch querying; AzureCosmos DB. 2 to 3 years of experience seems to be the min level thatd help. 4. Person needs to have a ton of drive to work independently and needs to have a knack for making progress on their own in the face of ambiguity and dependency on others within and outside of the team. 5. Of course strong problem solving; communication skills and deep understanding and experience with computer science concepts is a MUST as well.
