Role: IBM Cloudpak IBM API Connect Location: Torrance, California (Remote) Duration: Contract Roles and Responsibilities: Design, development, production support of Message flows on IIB 9 or later Websphere MQ XPATH, JAVA, SQL, XML, JSON Skills Adapters, patterns, ESQL, DFDL, XSLT SOAP, JSON, REST, JMS System Integration, technical sizing, high availability concepts IIB administration & troubleshooting memory and CPU issues Transformation tools like WTX Cobol Copybook concepts and mapping from XML to COBOL Unit Testing, Integration testing and System testing skills Networking concepts and integration with AWS concepts like VPC, NLB, etc Cloudwatch integration. General Skills: Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, TLS, AAA concepts, Load Balancing Concepts, Queuing, Synchronous vs Asynchronous modes of communication, Streaming CI/CD concepts + Automation skills Unit Testing, Performance Testing Tools like SOAPUI, LOADUI, PostMan Ability to set up POCs and Pilots quickly Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker Containers VMware concepts like OVAs Analytical and problem solving skills Source Control tools like github Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure + code related issues. RedHat OpenShift Concepts & Troubleshooting skills Production Support experience with the above. Ability to set up and work with non AWS technologies like IBM Cloudpak & IBM APIC.
