Role: Lead Microsoft BI Developer with Access DB Location: Schenectady, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-05-12876 Description This position is with the Health and Human Services Portolio and will be responsible for converting legacy MS Access applications to SQL Server and PowerApps technologies. Duties Meet with Business Owners to determine business requirements. Analyze Business Needs to establish technical requirements. Design, Development, Test, and Implement the new application which includes data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, and creation of database objects. Identify and escalate technical risks and issues appropriately. Development of technical design documents and program specifications. Provide technical expertise to team of developers; mentor less experienced staff. Production support tasks including troubleshooting and problem resolution. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting multi-tiered transactional applications. 84 months experience designing and creating tables, queries, forms, reports, modules, vba code using Microsoft Access 2007 or higher. 60 months programming experience writing SQL including Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and complex queries in SQL Server. 60 months experience using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to create projects and packages. 60 months experience creating reports using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). 60 months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 (and higher). 24 months experience using the Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI).
